Star Lane Chauffeurs is the trading name of Star Lane Limousines Pty Ltd (ABN: 15 869 257 306). We're a boutique chauffeur service led by founder Anna, providing luxury chauffeur nationally and Corporate Concierge services throughout Adelaide and South Australia.

  • Star Lane Chauffeurs operates as a boutique chauffeur service, working with a trusted network of premium vehicles rather than maintaining a large fleet. This approach allows us to carefully select the most suitable vehicle for your specific needs, ensuring a personalized, high-quality experience for every journey.

    Our chauffeur services are available nationally across Australia, while our corporate concierge services are exclusively available in South Australia. This model means you benefit from premium, carefully selected vehicles for every booking, personalized service tailored to your requirements, access to a diverse range of vehicle types, and professional chauffeurs committed to our high standards.

    As a boutique service, Star Lane Chauffeurs and our service providers are not common carriers. We reserve the right to refuse to carry any person without giving reason, and may decline service based on safety, availability, or other legitimate business considerations.

  • We accept bookings by phone at +61 421 644 944, by email at bookings@starlanechauffeurs.com.au, or through the Rideminder passenger app using code STARLANE. For your security and ours, we do not accept bookings via text message, voice message, or through direct driver contact.

    When making your booking, please provide your full name and contact details, a valid mobile phone number for driver communication, complete addresses for pickup and drop-off locations, your preferred date and time of service, the number of passengers, and valid credit card details. For airport pickups, we'll also need your flight number and scheduled arrival time. Please let us know about any special requirements such as child seats or accessibility needs.

    Your booking is confirmed when you receive an email confirmation from us and any required payment has been processed. Please keep your confirmation for your records.

    For urgent bookings with less than eight hours notice, please call us directly at +61 421 644 944 and wait for confirmation before relying on the booking. While we'll do our best to accommodate urgent requests, we cannot guarantee availability and reserve the right to decline if appropriate resources cannot be allocated.

  • Your quoted price includes a professional, licensed chauffeur, premium vehicle and fuel, standard insurance coverage, complimentary waiting time as outlined in our policy, and GST. Your quote outlines the services included and any potential additional charges.

    Additional charges may apply for parking fees at your destination, tolls for requested routes, waiting time beyond the complimentary period, out-of-area surcharges for remote or regional locations requiring extended travel, baby or child seats (pricing available upon request), trailer hire (pricing available upon request), cleaning or damage fees when applicable, and airport parking surcharges where relevant.

    Credit card processing fees are charged at approximately 1-2% for Visa and Mastercard, and approximately 2-3% for American Express, with exact rates displayed at the time of payment.

    For standard bookings, your credit card is charged after trip completion. However, special bookings including weddings, concerts, sporting events, luxury vehicles, people movers, daily chauffeur hire, corporate concierge services, and multi-day bookings require a deposit or prepayment to secure your reservation.

  • Deposits or full prepayments are required only for special bookings, including special event bookings such as weddings, concerts and sporting events, special vehicle bookings, corporate concierge services, daily chauffeur hire services, and any bookings exceeding $1,000.

    Deposit amounts are either a minimum of $200 to secure your booking date, or 50% of the total cost for corporate concierge and wedding services. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable within the specified cancellation timeframes. Standard transfers do not require deposits.

    We accept payment by credit or debit card via a Stripe invoice link sent by email, bank transfer or direct deposit for invoiced bookings with details provided on your invoice, and in-car tap-to-pay with credit, debit card, or digital wallet. We do not accept in-car payments when services are provided by subcontractors unless this has been specifically confirmed with Star Lane Chauffeurs beforehand.

  • We understand that plans can change. For your convenience and protection, we've structured our cancellation policy with clear timeframes and fees.

    For standard bookings: If you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup, there is no charge. Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before pickup incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 12 hours of pickup, or if you don't show up for your scheduled service, result in the full booking fee being charged.

    For high-value bookings over $1,000: No refunds will apply if cancellation occurs within one week of the booking date.

    For wedding bookings: Wedding bookings require a 50% booking fee upon confirmation to secure your date and vehicle. If you cancel more than 60 days before your wedding, 75% booking fee is refunded. Cancellations made 7 to 60 days before your wedding allow for 50% of the total booking fee to be refunded. Cancellations within 7 days of your wedding date receive no refund, and full charges apply. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding date, and the final itinerary must be confirmed at this time.

    To cancel your booking, please contact us in writing via email at bookings@starlanechauffeurs.com.au or by phone at +61 421 644 944 followed by written confirmation. Your cancellation becomes effective only when you receive written confirmation from us.

  • We offer industry-leading complimentary waiting time because we understand that travel doesn't always go exactly to plan.

    • Homes, Hotels, Offices (Standard Pick Up Locations) | 10 minutes free waiting time

    • Airport – Domestic | 30 minutes free waiting time

    • Airport – International | 60 minutes free waiting time

    • Special Events | 20 minutes free waiting time

    We track all flights in real time and adjust automatically for delays at no extra charge. Your complimentary waiting time begins from the actual landing time, not the scheduled time, so you never pay for flight delays beyond your control.

    If waiting time extends beyond the complimentary period, charges apply:

    • Sedan & SUV | $1.50 per minute

    • People Movers (accommodating up to 11 passengers) | $2.20 per minute

    • People Movers (accommodating up to 16 passengers) | $2.50 per minute

    These charges are calculated in 15-minute increments, and you authorize us to automatically charge these amounts to your payment method.

    For hourly or as-directed services, all time counts toward your booked hours with no complimentary waiting period.

  • If you booked through the Rideminder app, you'll receive automated messages after booking confirmation, along with a tracking link to monitor your driver's location in real time. The app uses phone number masking to protect your privacy, meaning neither you nor your driver sees each other's real phone numbers. All communications are recorded for quality and safety purposes.

    If you booked through other methods, your driver will contact you directly using the phone number you provided. Please ensure your mobile phone is on and can receive messages.

    If you can't find your driver, first check for a text message from them, then call or text the driver using the number provided. If there's no response within five minutes, call us immediately at +61 421 644 944. Please wait at the designated pickup point and have your booking reference ready. Do not leave the pickup area without calling us first, or you may be charged the full trip cost plus a no-show fee.

    For airport pickups, your chauffeur will meet you in the designated arrivals area of the terminal, holding a digital sign displaying your name. Meeting points may vary by airport and terminal.

  • We maintain our vehicles to the highest standards and ask for your cooperation in keeping them pristine. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles, with a $250 deodorization fee applied automatically for any violations. Illegal drugs are absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate service termination and may involve authorities. Food consumption is not permitted unless pre-approved in writing. Pets are not permitted without prior written consent.

    Regarding alcohol: Star Lane Chauffeurs does not hold a liquor license, though some of our trusted subcontractor services may. If you wish to arrange alcohol as part of your transport or experience, please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements. We can tailor arrangements based on the service provider allocated to your booking. All passengers must be 18 years or older, and you may be responsible for supplying alcohol depending on the service provider. South Australian liquor laws apply at all times, and our drivers may refuse service to excessively intoxicated passengers regardless of whether alcohol was supplied by you or a licensed operator.

    Cleaning and damage fees: A minimum $250 cleaning fee applies for any incident requiring professional cleaning, including vomit or bodily fluids, spilled food or drinks including alcohol, cosmetic stains or chewing gum, pet hair or odors, or any mess beyond normal use. This fee covers professional cleaning costs, plus the cost of damaged upholstery, repairs, and lost booking income while the vehicle is being cleaned or repaired. You authorize us to automatically charge your payment method for all cleaning and repair costs.

    You are liable for the full cost of any damage caused by you or your passengers to the vehicle interior or exterior, electronic equipment, or lost or damaged items. Charges include retail replacement cost with a minimum of $200 per item, professional repair costs, and lost income during repairs.

    Service may be immediately terminated if you behave aggressively or threaten anyone's safety, damage or attempt to damage the vehicle, are excessively intoxicated, engage in illegal activity, refuse to follow driver safety instructions, or harass the driver in any way. If service is terminated for these reasons, no refund will be provided, the full booking cost remains payable, and additional charges apply for any damage or cleaning required.

  • Child seats are available (pricing available upon request) and must be specified at the time of booking. Please provide your child's age in the booking notes, as advance notice is required since compliant seats can be difficult to source on short notice.

    You have two options: you may supply your own child seat that complies with Australian Safety Standards, or we can arrange hire and fitting for a fee. Please note that seats supplied by us may not always be installed by an accredited fitter, and you accept the risk of fitting and installation. All seats we provide comply with Australian Safety Standards. Standard sedans can accommodate one child seat, while multiple seats require a larger vehicle.

    If you arrive with a child requiring a seat without prior booking, our driver must refuse the trip as this is a legal requirement. We will attempt to source an equipped vehicle on short notice, but if unsuccessful, your booking will be cancelled with the full booking cost charged. This policy is non-negotiable as it exists for child safety.

  • For airport transfers, please provide your valid flight number so we can track your flight in real time. Your driver adjusts for delays automatically, with 30 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, both calculated from your actual landing time.

    Hourly bookings and as-directed services count all time toward your booked hours with no complimentary waiting period. Extensions are charged pro-rata in 15-minute increments, and these services are available for local, regional, and interstate journeys.

    Daily chauffeur hire is subject to a maximum of 12 hours per day in accordance with driver fatigue regulations. You'll have the same vehicle and driver for the entire period. Once service commences, there are no vehicle changes or hour reductions available. Changes after the start are treated as cancellation of the original booking, resulting in a minimum 2-hour charge plus a $200 fee.

    For special events such as concerts, sports, and festivals, we recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance at minimum. Availability and flexibility are limited during major events, peak pricing may apply, and our standard cancellation policy applies. Most venues have designated drop-off and pickup points which we'll coordinate with you.

  • Star Lane Chauffeurs reserves the right to use the services of other approved chauffeur, limousine, and vehicle service providers as required to fulfill your booking. This ensures we can always accommodate your needs while maintaining our exacting standards.

    All service providers are pre-qualified by Star Lane Chauffeurs and deemed to be of sufficient quality to provide services on our behalf. Whether your service is provided directly by us or through one of our trusted partners, all providers remain under our supervision and responsibility at all times, and you receive the same high standard of professionalism, care, and attention to detail. When you book with Star Lane Chauffeurs, you're booking our services regardless of which operator fulfills your trip.

  • Your wedding day deserves flawless execution. A 50% booking fee upon confirmation to secure your date and vehicle, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to your wedding. Your final itinerary and timing must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to your wedding date. Please note that last-minute changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

    All wedding transfers include complimentary water, mints, sanitizers, and tissue packs. Standard wedding ribbons are available upon request. Vehicles are presented to the highest professional standard, clean, polished, and chauffeur-driven.

    Cancellation policy for weddings: Cancellations made more than 60 days before your wedding receive a 75% refund of the booking fee. Cancellations made 7 to 60 days before receive a 50% refund of the booking fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of your wedding are non-refundable, and full charges apply.

    Regarding waiting time: For point-to-point wedding transfers, a 10-minute grace period is included. After this time, waiting is charged at $2.20 per minute. For hourly bookings, any additional time beyond the agreed duration is charged at the applicable hourly rate.

    You are responsible for ensuring all passengers are ready at agreed pickup times. Delays caused by you or your guests may impact the overall schedule and incur additional charges.

    We may photograph our vehicles at your event for promotional purposes, please advise us if you prefer your images not be shared.

  • Star Lane Chauffeurs offers professional corporate concierge services to support your business needs with discretion, efficiency, and attention to detail. Available exclusively in South Australia.

    We provide executive personal assistance, business errands and courier services, meeting coordination, document delivery, corporate gift coordination, event assistance, airport meet-and-assist services, travel coordination, restaurant and venue bookings, and bespoke corporate support tailored to your needs.

    Services are quoted individually based on your requirements and must be arranged in advance with written confirmation. Pricing may be hourly, per-task, or package-based, with third-party expenses reimbursed at cost. A 15% commission applies to high-end itineraries including accommodations and multi-day coordination.

  • We maintain comprehensive motor vehicle insurance, public liability insurance, and compulsory third party insurance as required by law, so you can travel with peace of mind.

    To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability is limited to a refund of the trip in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, missed flights, business opportunities, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control such as traffic, weather, road closures, or accidents. We are also not responsible for items left in vehicles or services provided by third parties.

  • Liability limitations:
    Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for delays beyond our control including traffic, weather, or road closures, items left in vehicles, or missed flights or connections due to circumstances beyond our control. These limitations do not apply to consumers where prohibited by Australian Consumer Law.

    Changes to bookings:
    Changes must be made through proper channels and not directly to drivers. Changes made less than 8 hours before pickup may not be possible, and price changes may apply for modifications. Waiting time charges apply for delays caused by changes.

    Payment authorization:
    By providing payment details, you authorize us to charge booking fees, waiting time fees after the complimentary period, cleaning fees, damage fees, and any other fees specified in these Terms. Charges may occur automatically without additional authorization.

  • By making a booking with Star Lane Chauffeurs, you confirm that you have read and understood these Key Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our complete Terms & Conditions, you are 18 years or older or have guardian consent, you have authority to book for yourself and any passengers, you accept responsibility for compliance by all passengers, you authorize charges to your payment method for applicable fees, and all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

  • Our website, www.starlanechauffeurs.com.au, is operated by Star Lane Limousines Pty Ltd. By using our site, you agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy. We believe the information on our website is correct; however, we disclaim all liability and responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by anyone relying on anything contained in or omitted from our website or publications.

    What we collect:
    We collect your name, email, phone number, and addresses, payment card details stored securely via Stripe (we never see full card details), your booking history and preferences, SMS messages with drivers which are recorded for quality and safety, flight details for airport transfers, and any special requirements such as child seats or accessibility needs.

    How we use your information:
    Your personal information is used for the provision of Star Lane Chauffeurs services and for that purpose alone. We use your information to process your bookings and provide chauffeur services, process payments, improve service quality, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with you about your bookings. By making a booking, you understand that all information provided by you is your sole responsibility. We accept no responsibility for any incorrect information provided in respect to bookings made.

    Information security:
    Payments made through Rideminder or via a Xero invoice are securely processed by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd (Stripe). Neither Rideminder nor the transport operator has access to, or stores, your credit card details. All card information is handled securely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant, and we never see or store your full card details. Your information may be retained for future bookings in line with our terms and conditions.

    Who we share information with:
    Your personal information is not given to third parties except where the purpose relates to fulfilling the obligations of your booking, including sharing with drivers only the information necessary for your specific booking, our payment processor Stripe for payment processing, service providers necessary to complete your booking, and subcontractors fulfilling your chauffeur service.

    We may be obliged to surrender your personal information to regulatory authorities and law enforcement officials in accordance with applicable law. Personal information may also be disclosed to identify, contact, or bring legal action against anyone damaging, injuring, or interfering with our rights or property.

    Your privacy rights:
    You have the right to access your personal information, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion of your information subject to legal requirements, opt out of marketing communications, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If at any time you believe your information is incorrect, you may contact us to have it corrected.
